OUR COMPANY & VISION

A-BaVi Protec Inc. is a University of Alberta spin-off company that has incorporated to commercialize a first-of-its-kind, salt-coated antimicrobial filter technology to prevent transmission of respiratory diseases. The proposed goal has been built on the recent success of Dr. Hyo-Jick Choi’s demonstration on the inactivation of viruses/bacteria using a salt-based technology. Our technology will advance the global agenda for respiratory protective equipment technology and help with the management of pandemics/epidemics. The headquarter of A-BaVi Protec Inc. is located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Vision: A-BaVi Protec Inc. will achieve its goal as a unique global leader specializing in antimicrobial technologies with a worldwide organization.

OUR TEAM

To carry out the proposed project, A-BaVi Protec plans to assemble a multidisciplinary team with pre-existing expertise in  antimicrobial filter technology. Our team will utilize its multidisciplinary scientific background and unique expertise in engineering, chemistry, biology, and health sciences for the successful realization of commercialization goals. Unquestionably, the combined expertise of all our team members will make us one of the few research teams in this field who can provide innovative solutions to technical problems in antimicrobial respiratory device development.
